    I have the 55. They even asked me when I went to get the phone activated if I wanted to drop down a plan, since the MMS wasn't working, but I told them I'd stay as is for now just incase. But yeah, that would be awesome if you had a fix for it. I read a lot of your previous post, and what I gathered was it wasn't working 100% yet. Did you finally figure it all out?

    Thanks,

    Well, I've tried to do this multiple times, and still no success. From what I read, the phone has to be on EI22. So I used odin3 and installed EC05 full stock, and then let android update itself to EI22. Then I used this method of rooting
    How to root the Samsung Epic 4G on Froyo and Gingerbread - YouTube

    , basically installing ACSyndicate 1.0.0.5 Recovery with Root and SU. The method I'm using to Root, does require you install a custom Kernel - not sure if that has anything to do with it. Each attempt I would reload stock EC05 and redo the EI22 update. Other then that, I've followed the steps correctly. I did it multiple times before posting here to make sure I was doing it right. I even edited the APN, and took out the 0's to put my own phone number in. Is there a step I'm missing that isn't in the instructions? I'm fairly new at this stuff, so something that is obvious may not be that obvious to me. lol.

    Thanks in advance,
    emoti0n

    You must be on a ei22 or a eh17 rom for my custom mms.apk to work. Also check that you are actually getting 3g, It will still show the 3g icon when your not really getting it.

    Ok I have got a problem. I have been using my fully flashed Samsung Epic 4G for a while now. I am using GreenK 45 pro to enable 3G. Ever since I flashed this phone and started using Greenk 45 pro every so often I will have to disable it then enable sometimes having to reboot my phone to get it to enable again but that is no big problem. Today the internet went out and i cant get it back ...... even with disabling and enabling. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this issue and prevent it from happening again?

    Have you tried installing busybox using one of the installers from the Market? Did you switch ROM's or anything? That is odd to say the least...

    I would suggest opening a terminal (adb shell / terminal emulator) and trying to ping wap.mycricket.com. It should respond whether you have proxy enabled or disabled.

    On device using terminal emulator:
    Code:
    $ ping wap.mycricket.com
    Using adb:
    Code:
    adb shell ping wap.mycricket.com

    Sorry this is such a late response. I have to be at work in roughly 30 minutes , but when I get home today I will try and redo it on EH17. My 3g is for sure working. I often use it for streaming internet radio while in the car, and downloading an app here or there when not near a WiFi connection. Although my 3G is EXTREMELY Slow. Not that Cricket's 3G is fast or anything, but it seems a lot slower since I flashed to this phone. Thanks for the tips on getting this to work, very much appreciated whether I get it to work or not.
