    Samsung Epic 4G Ginggerbread HELP

Ok, I'm not sure what to do with this. Every time I try to update i get a status error 7. Does anyone know a way to fix this problem so I can update without using CWM or anything of the sort?

I don't quite understand -- are you trying to do an OTA (Over The Air) update from your carrier or some other method to update to Gingerbread? Sadly, many "lower-end" carriers (Cricket, MetroPCS, Boost Mobile, etc) do not have OTA updates until well after it's been released to the public.

If you're wanting to stay 'in the now' and up to date with the newest releases from Android, flashing CWM to your phone would be the best/easiest option. I wouldn't see why you wouldn't want to do this though since you're phone is already flashed to another carrier -- Cricket. Hope I've been *some* help
