    nv items

I would start at the part where you flash the NV Items then check it with qpst. If you are on the 45 dollar plan use the greenk45 app, to get data to work, but it does not work on the stock rom. I recommend using a different ROM.

    I hope this helps.

So I am still having a problem with CDMA workshop 2.7, I can connect to port 8 but anytime I try to send the SPC it says phone failed to answer, same for trying to read any items. Are there any options in HW serial that i need to change? Do I need to configure the port with QPST 1st (which I've tried)? Whenever I do that CDMA will fail to connect to the port saying it is busy. In my devicce manager when in PC mode I have under portable devices: DROID2 GLOBAL and under Modems: Motorola USB Modem. Need to get this thing working for a client ASAP. Any help would be appreciated.

in HW Serial you need to go to the settings tab and uncheck "NVT Enabled." after doing this it should work if you followed the tutorial.
    good luck

I have a few questions as I am 100% new to Droids & flashing them ( I have flashed phones before but just old school flip phones ). First question is, Is there an easy way to swap the ESN from my G'Zone Boulder originally from verizon that I currently have on CRICKET & on the $35 plan? I know they do ESN changes here & I would get for free being a supporting member, but why make them do it if its something I can do my self? Second question I have is about the NV file creation @ Whiterabbit, am I to ignore it saying for Droid 1 Only as it may brick your phone as I will be flashing a Droid 2 a955?
As far as Tools go I currently have CDMA Workshop, UniCDMA, Motorola Tools, QPST 2.7 (all 3 versions), LG Download &
    Virtual_Port..

Update : all is well now & works on both $45 & $55 plan including full net & apps.

    Angry Flash = No data.

Hey I have followed the guide here, even the step by step one. I followed each step exactly 5 times, still NO Data at all. Not a second zippo. help PLEASE anyone? Thanks.. Ima this close to throwing the phone.

On a side note. For some odd reason, when I have WiFi on, the 3G appears, and I can see it, but disabling WiFi removes the data.

    Flashed but wont activate

I managed to flash my R2D2 to cricket, but they won't activate it, saying my phone wont work in my service area. When I asked for more info, they said it was too old (?) Any ideas?

They said its to old?? That makes no sense once so ever, that is basically a Droid 2 a955. r2d2 is a957 I believe. Are you in a Tri Band area? If so you may get basic functions but possibly not mms or data if it even works at all, tri band area's are funny like that. Did you go to a local Cricket store or a private dealer?

I purchased my phone on amazon, a Kyocera Domino. Their answer about it bein 'too old' doesn't make sense to me either. I'm not sure if I am in a tri-band area or not, the zip code is 86301. On their map everything appears strong. If it matters, when I enter my zip on the store, the iPhone isn't available (I don't want an iPhone anyway).

Followed this tutorial for a Droid 2 global on the 45 a month plan, with u2nl and autostart root, and I've lost 3g after months of it working just fine. I've heard rumors of flashed phones no longer being welcome on cricket here locally, and was wondering what where I should start as far as troubleshooting?
