THen Download Autostart.SH and U2nl They should be in the downloads section of this forum.

Before starting the next step make sure you have the u2nl file in your this folder c:/android/tools and also that you have you autostart.sh file in this folder c:/

Now go to command prompt and type the following commands,
    cd c:\android\tools
    adb shell
    mkdir /data/opt/
    exit
    adb remount
    adb push c:\android\tools\u2nl /system/bin/u2nl
    adb push c:\android\tools\autostart.sh /data/opt/autostart.sh
    Now:
    adb shell
    chmod 0755 /system/bin/u2nl
    chmod 0755 /data/opt/autostart.sh
    exit
    adb reboot

When it restarts as long as u had already installed Autostart Root before the restart you should have working internet and all IF NOT then connect QPST and do this....

open it on the com port 10 read your settings. under MIP mip2,,PPP(Um,AN...etc it should say 6155555551@mycricket.com etc in the right columns....in the bottom box password may need to be written to phone, just type in cricket for both Um and An, cricket is the password.

Also select mobile ip+simple ip under MiP tab
    select write to phone
Hey tech I thought with script runner.... You didn't have to adb? ? ? You just put u2nl and autostart.sh on the sd card on the script runner folder

Swyped this from my Droidx using tapatalk

Just did mine with 2.3.3. 2 things I noticed:
Steps never said what I was suppossed to do with autostart or u2nl. Did I miss something?
I have 4 Verizon APN lines listed: Verizon CBS, Verizon FOTA, Verizon IMS, Verizon Internet. All of them are locked, did I miss a step or should I do something with these? I ended up making a new entry and following the settings for it.

I think it mentions in there somewhere that if you backup those APNs using APN Backup Restore, then delete APNs (the current ones on the device and not that backup you just made), and then restore the backup, they will be unlocked.

Try modifying just the Verizon Internet and putting in the Cricket settings there. Just keep the name the same, but modify the rest. Make sure that green dot is selected. Reboot it all and then try.

autostart and u2nl are kind of old now that GreenK45 covers that.

I had the same problem. When you setup your virutal com port makes sure the NVT box under settings is not checked.

it does and i got that to work

    i did steps 11-12
    11) Go to the NAM tab and in the MIN and MDN(Dir_Number) boxes enter in the info you got from cricKet customer service and click write.
    12) Now go to the Memory tab. Under NV Items click Write. Browse and select the NV Item file you generated earlier. Once its done it will say 12 NV Items were successfully written to the phone.

    aft # 11 i get
    Write True IMSI... Skipped
    Write PRL status... Skipped
    Write System selection... Skipped
    Write Otapa status... Skipped
    aft 12 i get a popup
"You must send current SPC to phone before write NV items"
