[WORKAROUND] ICS Mms.apk w/Split SMS option to solve garbled long texts.

Theres been an issue with the current Mms.apk when sending sms messages longer than 160chars. The recipient (only if on a different network than cricket) receives garbled numbers/symbols instead of the message.
Im currently looking into why this happens, but in the meantime I've compiled another Mms.apk that has split SMS support. When checked (in mms options), it will auto split your long sms messages into 160 character chunks upon sending. Your recipient will receive multiple messages, labeled "(1/2), (2/2)" etc... along with the message.

Its not a pretty solution, but until I find out why this is happening, this will have to do.

    Installation:
    Back up your current Mms.apk
    Extract zip to SDcard
Using Root Explorer, Push new Mms.apk to /system/app
Change the permissions to 0644 (rw-r-r)
    Reboot

Can you please tell me what code you added and where you added it? I'd like to edit the GB MIUI Mms.apk to auto split messages over 160 characters.
I tried copying an old mms.apk that was for MIUI and had the settings but it doesn't split, it only shows the option to turn auto split on or off.
