SPC question that I can't find an answer to

I have a Droid X currently flashed to Cricket Wireless running Liberty 2.0.1... I tried to do the flashing myself but the CDMA workshop program asks for a SPC/MSL number which SHOULD be 000000, but In my case, it's not. I had to go to a "flasher" to do it or me. I asked him how he got around the SPC issue and he said that they call Verizon and hook the phone up to a computer and Verizon automatically issues another SPC number. Now my question is this: HOW IN THE HELL CAN I GET THAT NUMBER?! I have tried everything. I've tried flashing a custom ROM ( I was told that would reset the SPC back to six zeros), I've tried factory reset, I've tried SBF, CDMA workshop, and nothing seems to get me that number. Is there anyone who has come across this issue that can help me? I want to be able to flash my own phone and not have to pay the guy $80 everytime I install a new ROM

Download MSL reader from the market. You must be rooted. It will give you the number you are looking for. I then was able to change it in CDMA to the (6) 0's. See if that works for you.

this may sound totally odd, but it seems you can sbf etc.

I have a borked MIUI4DX attempt that reflashes the radio to .07P, it also erases PRL, NVdata, the whole 9. PM me if you're interested, the phone WILL STICK AT M after doing this until you sbf, keep that in mind.

    KennyFool,

Looks like we both have the same problems, or at least I have the problem you had with your SPC not being six 0's. I bought mine used too so I'm not sure what to do. I saw on another post you may have flashed to a new sbf and it reset to 0's. What one did you use? It looks like Hitemupwireless found a solution. Thanks, this is driving me crazy!!

Ah man I know how you feel! I searched endlessly forever! lol but yeah I got what you need:

    RSDLite5.3.1.msi

    RSD LITE 5.3.1

    DROID X Gingerbread 4.5.602 SBF Released | TalkAndroid.com

.602 SBF (you can try the RSD lite they link you to on this page, but I've had better luck with the one I provided)

Now all you have to do is an SBF...
Complete Droid X .sbf Flashing Guide

Once it's done remember to go back to STOCK recovery by pressing power and home at the same time untill the triangle appears. Then press both volume buttons at the same time to get to the menu. Clear data/cache and reboot. Then go into the hidden menu ##PROGRAM and enter 6 zero's and it should work. hope this helped!

Oh, and make sure you have plenty of battery on your phone before you attempt this....
