Tether Fix for Gingerbread (TBH Patch)

You might notice that you have some problems with Wireless Tether or the built in hotspot with Gingerbread.

This solution should be flashed just like a ROM. Go to Rom Manager and flash from SDCard. Choose this file and then you should be good to go.

Note that it might take about 2 minutes to make a good solid connection. I'm posting utilizing the built in hotspot right now.

Without this patch the 3g drops over and over again.

Yeah NOTE this pushes NV items to phones. Shouldn't work for Cricket. I think it was a fluke if it did work.
Please check the forum and post there before PMing me. I have over 674 unread PMs due to the fact that they are issues which should have been addressed here.

I did catch that that's why I redid the NV file. The funny part is that after using the patch then reinstalling the generated NV itemss the hotspots works. Kinda weird.

All that "Tether patch" does is patch a few NV items with @vzw3g.com as opposed to dun.vzw3g.com to "trick" VZW into letting you tether.
