    Actually I should point out that if you change the build.prop entries as follows:
    Change from
    ro.cdma.home.operator.numeric= 300004
    ro.cdma.home.operator.alpha= Verizon

    Change to
    ro.cdma.home.operator.numeric= 300016
    ro.cdma.home.operator.alpha= Cricket

    These APN's can be edited also so that you no longer have to see Verizon's network

    BTW I have a Droid X and a Droid X2 that this solution worked for me on several different ROM's/Android builds and so on. This is the definitive answer for fixing the non working MMS
    Thanks for this

    okay guys ive posted this before on dx forums but im on liquid ics there is a shitty mms apk. (prolly this same one , as is wont let you change settings ) that yuo can use without effing around with any apn stuff which is what im used to doing. just google on your regular browser" ihavegreat.info " and it will download the correct mms apk for you use it straight out of the box . it sucks u cannot change the settings and if you use it regularly u will get double notifications . ive tried to manipulate this 7 ways from sunday and the closest i came effed my phone up shortly thereafter im using liquid ics 1.5 which has been the best ics rom so far for me

    ---------- ihavegreat.info is a good google search i removed my edit and fixed

    If you still need an APN, try this one:

    http://www.cricketusers.com/verizon-...html#post78324

    That's my own tinkering with MMS on ICS roms. I have tested and confirmed it working on Gummy and CM9, so I would imagine it works on ANY ICS rom. That's using this apk to send and recieve, but I still use GO SMS Pro which has some trouble reading the apns properly to send mms.

    If you manually enter the APN settings in GO SMS Pro > Menu Button > Settings > Advanced tab > MMS Settings > Check "Fill APN configuration manually" then enter these settings:
    MMSC: http: //mms(dot)mycricket(dot)com/servlets/mms?mdn=xxx_xxx_xxxx (replace Xs with your number but keep the underscores)
    MMS Proxy: wap(dot)mycricket(dot)com
    MMS Port: 8080

    These settings work perfectly for me, but possibly not everyone.

    Unfortunately these didn't work for me when I was testing settings. Those are in fact the working GB settings, but they don't necessarily work for everyone on ICS.

    No mms cricket flashed razr

    I followed this and so many other guides to a tee and getting nowhere. Here is my details someone please help. Droid Razr... System Version: Evolution.5.1spyder.deodexed.... Adroid Version: 4.0.4. So far I get 3g no prob and can send and receive regular text. Need more info just ask. Thanks all!

    --------------------------------------

    Working APN and Mms.apk

    I have done a lot of different testing and configurations to get MMS working correctly.
    I think I finally found a working setup that has been consistent for me.

    I used 1 APN found in post #7 by stubb1986
    (http://www.cricketusers.com/flashing...id-phones.html)

    Instructions:

    • I used ApnB&R to restore the APN found here ---------> (
      1APN.xml

      )
    • Remember to replace the X's with your 10-digit number
    • Now use APN Manager to select the APN (Verizon Internet)
    • Then I copied the Mms.apk that I decompiled and modified to /system/app. ----------> (
      Mms.apk

      )
    • changed permission to rw-r--r--

    Now reboot your phone.

    You should have working MMS. Make sure you have working 3G before hand (greenk45 Pro)

    Please give me some feedback whether it works or not. This has been tested on AOSP and GB (.602) ROM's.

    Thanks
