Swype is a must have: use it? Love it or hate it?

To me swype is a must have app. Makes typing a thing of the past. Easy to learn and when you get the hang of it you will save so much time when texting or replying on post here on the forum.

I just reinstalled it Beta 3 version 3.6.84.26668 (forgot to after I changed roms) don't know how I ever did without it. I love it.

Just wondering who uses it on what devices and if you like it or not. And what version are you using?

I used to have Swype on my phone, but I never did use it. Very rarely did I ever. It's a very cool app, but I was much faster at typing on the screen then trying to slide my finger around.

I was just wondering that myself.

I'm not a good speller at all and I do really well with swype. To be honest I think it has made me a better speller.

I used to use Swype but after I switched to CyanogenMod 7 I haven't used it. I got Swiftkey, but it wasn't working properly. Also, I've read some things that Swiftkey can take information to help it predict better or something.. I don't really like that. The only company that I don't mind using some of my information to help improve things is Google. For some reason I trust them.

When I used Swype on Android 2.1 it was lagging a lot, but that was my phone's fault. It's probably a lot better now..

To answer the question, I did like Swype.

It is downloading Swype now. It will probably take a while since I'm throttled. It's so hard to get anything done when I'm throttled.
