I planned on this being my last resort just because I'm not sure how they "push" the new files

    No there's nothing at all.
I'm using the file expert &I went to "/" opened the "data" folder &nothing.
    Hmm...any ideas!?
Should I just flash the telephony.db.zip?

why not adb push it? 1 terminal command could copy telephony.db over, why all the apps and nonsense? no offense.

install android sdk > enable usb debugging > install adb drivers > open command prompt in directory where telephony.db is located > adb devices (make sure it lists a device) > "adb push telephony.db /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db"

    ADB information from xda

Did you get the android sdk and get your phone to read with adb?

Yea I got the sdk .
I just can't get the phone to read with adb. Says it has the best drivers already installed tho.
I put in CD space drag the sdk tools folder then hit enter
    I get c:\android\android-sdk\tools>
    I add adb root
&get 'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    Idk what I'm doing wrong.
    Researched sdk on Google
    Read the link by mraabhimself
&read the mms directions in the Eris flashing thread here.
