    Developer: Blarf

    Builder: BobZhome

    Current Version: CM7.2.0RC0-LW690-BobZhome (1-17-2011)
Description: Well, let's be honest. Unless you're living under a rock, you probably know what Android 2.3.7 (Gingerbread) is. Furthermore, you should know what the CyanogenMod project is. However, if a rock is really your home and you'd like to learn more, please visit their site:
    About the project | CyanogenMod

    People worked with/owe thanks to:

    • Alex Zepeda a.k.a Blarf - For his great skills on developing for the Android.
    • Koushik Dutta a.k.a Koush - For his bad-ass recover.
    • Steve Kondik a.k.a Cyanogen - Seriously? Do I need to state why we owe thanks to this guy?
    • PlayfulGod - For help with getting need files and his CWM recovery for this phone

    What Does Not work?

    • Probably MMS

NOTE: If you end up having issues, always go back and try wiping. Start fresh and see if things don't improve.
NOTE 2: It'll take awhile for everything to settle down. Especially after installing gapps and syncing accounts. Give it a few minutes to settle and reboot a couple times. The system will speed up after that.

    Helpful Tips

Overclocking is available in Settings --> CyanogenMod settings --> Performance --> CPU settings. Tweak it as you like, but know this: not all OC's were created equally.

Only problem I ran into was the camera. Phone freezes and reboots when trying to use it.

Downloaded and followed the instructions to partition the SDcard. I'm still getting the 'insufficient space' error message. Any ideas?

Is this in Market, when you go to download something? I had that issue before when using the most updated version of Market.. When I D/L'd this ROM I used Bobzhome's gapps archive which has the old style version in it... Haven't had that error since..

Both from Market and restoring apps via Titanium Backup.

Your /cache and /dalvik-cache are in the same location and the location is full.
Since you have a ext partition already, Start Terminal Emulator, enter su, enter a2sd cachesd
which will move your /dalvik-cache files to the ext partition on your SDcard.

That's my mistake...I forgot to add it, Sorry!
I'm working on an optimized kernel version and going to build a new ROM tonight. I'm post it tomorrow night when I get home from work.
    Bob

EDIT: I wasn't able to put out a new ROM tonight. The new kernel I made had screen issues. In the mean time you can add a2sd by flashing this:

Works great so far. The overclocking my phone manages to pull of is 725 MHz. Anything more crashes it. Is it true that customizing the kernel will make your specific phone go faster?
Also other noticeable good changes. There's no screen issues. MMS works. Wifi works. etc.

I'll let you know what's broken when I find it.

Ok I think wifi is broken again. I tried connecting to my network at home and it keeps disconnecting. Anyone else get this problem?

**EDIT** Also mass storage doesn't work. I can't find a way to get files on my sdcard in this build.
