    ya mean the one that the dev that created didnt even want released??? lol
    ATM others who have got it installed will have to post up what they did. Once the OC I bought gets here I will see how/whats the easiest way to install it.

    Well, it did install, but it would do nothing, and had a error message at the bottom of the main screen. Had to pull the battery to reboot the phone.

    gregcapps, I was testing the "all in one recovery" from getitnowmarketing. This would have been the same recovery that tom would have sent you.

    Since that time, I have installed the CWM recovery that PlayfulGod created. I have installed it by putting both the recovery.img and flash_image (from the all in one recovery install) on the sd card. You can download the "flash_image" from this post and must be put on the sd card with the recovery.img. I then performed the following:

    * Open command prompt
    * adb shell
    * adb su
    * mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock5 /system
    * cat /sdcard/flash_image > /system/bin/flash_image
    * chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image
    * flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
    * reboot recovery

    You can also install via a terminal program, but again the recovery.img and flash_image must both be on the root of your sd card

    * su
    * mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock5 /system
    * cat /sdcard/flash_image > /system/bin/flash_image
    * chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image
    * flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
    * reboot recovery

    This installed PlayfulGod's recovery and booted into it. You then must use the volume up/down keys to navigate the menu and camera button to actually access the menu/command.

    I also installed the recovery using Flash Image GUI that I found a PPC geeks. I can confirm that PlayfulGod's recovery works well. It does have a error message at the bottom, but that doesn't seem to screw up any functions.

    Ok thanks for the update. Will reflash and try again. I bought flash image GUI, it greatly simplifies the process. I was unaware of the need to execute the menu commands with the camera Button.

    Ok. Confirmed as working now. The error message at the bottom is annoying. Long as it works tho, just glad to be romspert free. Lol.

    O got it lol, apparantly my usb process was flaking out on my pc. Pushing CM7OC to it now.

    I also install the recovery a bit differently, I download one thur rom manager and renamed mine to what it was and flashed it. Works like a charm
