Ok. Do you think it would make a difference which recovery is used to flash the kernel? I switched back to cwm before the flash because it seems to do a more complete wipe. I'm gonna flash ginm recovery and test the theory. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Experiment failed. No boot after kernel flash.

if it worked on bobs build, I will have to get with him to see how his configs are/were for it. Something might need set diff on the boardconfig etc.

Ok. A working overclock would be nice. I fixed the camera btw. I just pulled the files from the previous build.

I pulled all the camera lib files from 8/21 build 2. It seemed like the liboemcamera.so is the one that fixed it tho. Initially I did not grab it, and it still wasn't working. After copying it over, changing permissions and owner it works.

As for the camera, mediaserver is actually crashing.

I'll look into those issue when I get a chance, I've been busy with multiple phones.
Just got the OM(Optimus Metro version) going yesterday: [ROM][WIP] CM7.1 BobZ - Android Forums
Keep up the good work! That's cool you can tell what's causing the problems with the logcats. Let us know if you need another logcat for something.

Also when koush thinks of a way for the officail build to recognize the OC/OM from the other thunderc devices, it will be official. I know how we can do it for CM7, but dunno if stock would still recognize it then.

And will have a build posted in a lil while
Lol I meant like "Tom's" recovery. I dont know who else we could claim it to. I'll just say Tom's anything just for clarification.

Yeah. Also I guess you need to flash his build he has on his blog first. Then the kernel with no wiping. I could only get it to 729 with no trouble i.e the last round of angry birds level one

Just installed the latest build from the wiki.

When it boots and you tap the green andy, it takes youto the screen where you can add a google account. Tapping sign in still gives the message about sliding open the keyboard. Be best to eliminate or fix that at some point.. Minor I know, but thats what a test is for right?
