    Android Gingerbread (2.3) OS?

Has anyone heard anything about when Cricket is going to be offering the upgrade for Gingerbread??

Probably a very long time from now. The update is supposed to come but even LG won't comment on a release date. You would be better off rooting and flashing one of the custom gingerbread roms from Playfulgod or BobzHome.
I am running the ROM from playfulgod overclocked at 902mhz.

Only reason I haven't used a flashed rom, is all the problems I keep reading that people are having. I have used the Gingerbreak to root the phone without any issues, but I still want everything to work (ie: mms, market, etc...) on the phone.

Would like to thank gregcapps and PlayfulGod for all the input.

I have flashed my LG Optimus C with PlayfulGod's CM7 ROM and ran the kernel update to latest and everything seems to be working good.

Now to start playing around with OC'in and such.
