    I deleted my messaging app, how do i restore it?

    Lg optimus c model lg-lw690 version 2.2.2I rooted my phone so i could delete my stock messaging app so i could install handcent messanger to replace it. I dont think i was suppose to delete my stock messaging app, now i cant send or recieve mms messages. How do i completley reinstall all stock applications? Please help.     Handcent SMS like most third-party sms apps piggyback off the stock app. When installing handcent you are supposed to disable the notifications of your stock app. Therefore, it is NOT a good idea to delete your stock sms app. Try and look around on Google for the .apk file for your phone and install it again. Then do as I said above. That should fix your problem.

    Also, as a tip, never give out your email to the public. You will have 1000 spam messages in 2 hours and lucky for you Avenue edited your post before too many people saw it, (hopefully). MyCricket Forum will send you an automatic email as soon as you get a reply to a post.

    I would say doing a restore phone option would bring that back. Then you can re root it and carry on. :P

    Anyways most MMS.apk will at least get your text working. Not as convinced with MMS. This is the file you probably deleted. Anytime you play with stock files, I would at least rename them to whatever.apk.bak. Then you can easily restore when necessary.

    i deleted my cricket messaging app from my samsung epic 4g as well. Is there anyway to get it back?
