LG Optimus c /download my own ringtones

I would like to know how to use my own ringtones for my contacts. I had many of them on my huawei acsend. I dont like the ones that come with my LG OPITMUS c. And for my wallpaper, I want some cool wallpaper like the flatlines spiraling around the screen. And any suggestions what else I can do with my new phone I just got yesterday 5/20/11. Thanks, ANY help will be so deeply appreciated! ~Steph

Welcome to the forum as I see this is your first post.

Most Android phones should have the following option:

Open up a contact and hit Menu > Options > Ringtone you should be able to change it.

As for the Wallpaper, save something you like to your phone. Open up the gallery, view the picture, and there should be some options for set as and then wallpaper.

    Let us know! Thanks.
Please check the forum and post there before PMing me. I have over 674 unread PMs due to the fact that they are issues which should have been addressed here.

I added a folder /sdcard/ringtones and transferred .mp3 files there. Afterwards, they were available in the ringtones selections for contacts and system defaults.
