    Ascend 2 app question

Hello all, I am buying an Ascend 2, I liked the original, so I figure newer is better. My question is this....tne new phones come pre-installed with a bunch of apps and games I will never use, can my local Cricket store delete them from the phone for me??? More memory space is better, and I figure it will run smoother with less junk.

    Thanks all !

The Cricket store probably won't do it for you, but you can do it yourself. There should be instructions on the forum.

Personally, I would leave it alone. Unless you feel it's slowing the phone down or is in the way, I'd just leave it there. You can store applications on your MicroSD card so you will have plenty of room anyway.

Yea because somebody has a problem right now from deleting all the bloatware and he accidently deleted the camera app. Like avenue said, unless it's necessary or you are experienced, it's best to just leave it there.

If you want to delete them at your own risk download titanium backup from the market. You can backup all your apps just incase you do delete something on accident. If you do delete something you can go into titanium find the app click restore and its back on the phone.

If you are rooted, use root explorer, then navigate to your sd card\data\dataapp and delete bubble bash. Other bloat you can delete is at sd card\cust\cricket\us\app. Lastly flicker, twitter etc.. is disguised as SNS. Uninstall with unintstaller for root..I think it slows down my phone and always get rid of that garbage.
