Flaws already. Lets get this thing rooted!

The phone is nice. It's pretty sweet most of the time even, but I've noticed the RAM is lacking, along with internal storage space. Both of which can be fixed but only with root access. Also can anyone point me in the direction of the source code for this phone or has it even been released yet. I'm not a developer but I am pretty experienced with the ins and outs of the Android OS. Just can't do linux. So if I can be of assitance to anyone please let me know.

The source code is no use to you. However it is to me. It isn't out Yet but I'll probably crack it sooner.I just need temporary root and a system dump. Haven't had a chance to pick mine up yet.

Your making it difficult to be patient with you when you have absolutely no idea how this works. Please be patient and stop assuming based onnumbers and programs made by other people. Android is Linux bud

Thomas was the second paragraph really necessary? Advising that Android is Linux was great but the patient comment wasn't really needed.
Why does it matter if your patience is tested? Were you asked for anything?
I see a lot of knowledge of Android in what you do but when you get all snarky with people, I (and probably others) pretty much ignore it.

I answered his questions multiple times and explained how things worked earlier and he continued to make post about the subject igboribg my answers like I was some kind of moron. You can only explain arm11 uses armv6 architecture and root will tqke a little time so many times.

This is not exactly XDA Developers. Let it slide and move on.

I have noticed the same issue with my phone the lack of space. When you say it can be fixed once it's rooted, how is this done? I have rooted my phone and I'm not sure how I free up space

Have you moved your applications to your SD card?

I have moved what I can to the SD card. I was talking about some of the pre installed crap like Bubble Bash, Mobile Web, Storefront, and UNO and other. It looks like they are apps put on the phone by Cricket and the phone should work. I have also tried Titanium backup but I get some errors telling me it can't find the apk files.
Any other info or ideas would be great!

With root you can take the bloats out manually with root explorer or equivalent, data/cust/app is the location. I used link2sd to free up internal storage. Have all my favorite apps and over 100mb of free space internally which this phone cant come close to doing stock. It requires you have two partitions on your sd, i use an ext3 for speed along with the stock fat32 for the main storage.

I may not be a linux guru Thomas but at least I'm not a jerk, or an idiot.

This is considered a personal attack and will not be tolerated. If this continues I will issue a ban.

    Thanks!

Calling myself a non jerk or idiot is hardly a personal attack but ok, sorry. Anyway Cricket blew up my A2. So I got a HTC Sensation from T-Mobile. Good luck with this phone. Already supported on RM. So is my sensation! Cant wait til it gets in my hands!

You were implying more with your statement and that's is what Avenue was referring to.

Are you going with prepaid tmobile or contract? I've considered using them in the past but am a little concerned about coverage.
