The fee will be $10 monthly and will not add any additional bandwidth. 1gb still applies.

It's possible on flashed phones, but not supported in any way.
    Thanks for the confirmation!

It's nice to see that Cricket is going to offer tethering options. It might upset those who currently do it (including myself) because of them blocking the way we're currently tethering, but it will also make others aware of the feature that didn't know about it before. $10 per month is great for those who don't use it enough to need mobile broadband and just need a little Internet on the go where WiFi is lacking.

So, we know about three changes coming on or around October 30th - November 1st, and they are Muve Music on the Huawei Ascend 2, tethering on the Huawei Ascend 2, and the global calling feature.

Cricket has improved so much this past year it's amazing.

If you're using a third party application to tether after Oct 30th cricket wil re-direct you to a website stating that you need to add the tethering feature to your Cricket plan. You wont be able to tether anymore if you dont have the feature added.

Straight from the training document, yes. I'll be curious to see just how well that works. AT&T did a lousy job of deciding which of its customers were actually tethering; it will be interesting to see if Cricket can guess any better.
