Box b may go to lower buyer for different uses and usually ends up being under clocked to ensure no fail rate . Box A are sold to premium buyers and are garranteed at this speed . So in this situation the average no fail rate was 600 . Which typically is @ 200 mhz under what they were tested for .. Notice some info said it was going to have a 800 cpu ? Im guessing to reduce cost they went with Box b and underclocked to reduce fail rates . Im so sorry if i sound dumb its 202 sitting on the can and need sleep peace
    Interesting. Thanks!

    Question

So iwent back to the store and with the help of my fiance had my phone replaced. only thing is I feel this new phone is getting hot fast as well. So I decided I'd ask to see if anyone could lay my thoughts to rest, a2 users only; what's the temp of your battery and pa when you power on your phone? Also what's the temp of these things when you use your phone for around 5 minutes without the phone sleeping?

I'm not an Ascend 2 owner, but I was told that it's not good to let the phone get over 40 C. You can also check the user manual. It should say the minimum and maximum recommended temperature I use Gauge Battery Widget. It will put the battery percentage in the notification bar, and when I drag the notification bar down it will tell me the battery temperature also. You might like that.

    Post lol..?

So I traded in my 2nd a2 in today on my third now. Hopefully this one does better. The cricket Guy said to make sure the charge that it comes with is completely depleted before charging it.. which I did before. I'm wondering if this is wrong..?

That's fine. I think technically you're supposed to fully charge it before turning it on for the first time, and then let the charge run out completely, and then fully charge it again. I don't know how many people actually do it though.
