    Replacing the Huawei launcher

What do you guys think is a good replacement for the default launcher? I'm hoping there is a launcher that has a few more features and consumes less resources. I would like to know what launchers any of you are currently running to give me some ideas. Thanks in advanced!

I'd try all the popular ones like go launcher, adw launcher, and launcher pro. Not sure the hit they will take on your resources. The size of the app might aide you in determining that but of course it wouldn't be a perfect indicator.

So because of the lack of responses I assume everyone is still using the Huawei Launcher?

    ^^?
Why not just do as Chris suggested and try them all and make your own determination.

With my experience with the Huawei Ascend, I definitely recommend either Launcher Pro or Zeam. They are the most light weight and make your homescreen less laggy. Also Launcher 7 was one if my favorites but that was just for eye candy

I use Go on my X. Love it. Lancher pro is good too.

I tried SPB Shell. Its very pretty. It uses the GPU to render the interface so its smooth as silk. It has a bunch of very nice widgets built in. The only real problem with it is that its a bit of a memory hog. Since I don't think the Ascend 2 actually has any memory (j/k), in theory, it could be an issue, but it runs well for me.

Currently, I am running Xeam. Not because I like it better, just like trying stuff out. Xeam is real fast and resource efficient. Works well as a replacement for the POS Huawei includes.

You all need to try VTL launcher. Its just over 1mb. Its awesome on RAM, works with ADW Themes and is hands down my favorite of all time. Its a tab Launcher but turning off the sidedock bars and setting the icons to 4 from 7 makes it perfect for phones too. Highly customizable. Perfect for most any phone without Sense....
