    Stuck in Emergency Mode?

    1. Download the attachment on this post.

    2. Download this .cab :

    http://files.persona.cc/zefie/files/..._07.P60670.cab

3.Unzip the rar file you downloaded from step 1.

(You can just drag the .cab file into the window and the location will automatically be entered.)

    7.Now type:"LS670ZV7",then press enter.
(a new window will pop up)

8.Once it gives you an error, enter your device into Emergeny mode (Camera+Volume Down+Search"in front" and plug into the computer)
***Once the drivers are installed correctly press "Restart"

It should give you an error at the end saying Usb not connected (at this point your back to recovery mode) press restart again. It should
    say competed when finished.

Now you can go back to the top of this Post and start from the begining to get you back with a working phone ^^.

I was messing with my phone and installed a file that I probably shouldn't have. Now my phone is stuck on the lg logo. The phone will not let me boot into the recovery menu, is there any hope or did I truly "brick" my phone? I even plugged the phone into my computer but it does not read the phone. Please help!

PSHEEWWW thanks for this..I bricked a Rooted OPTIMUS S with Custom Recovery by doing a factory reset from the privacy menu..which I didnt know was a HUGE NO NO!!! I just want to add to this thread for those that have the newer Optimus S with the new displays (as I have) that the above steps will work for you however when you complete them you will have a blank screen on your phone but your phone will be functional just no display you will still even have a stock recovery you just won't be able to see it. The reason is because the newer Optimus S that have the Newer displays on them have different drivers in the firmware for the displays...SO if you follow from step 3 in this thread [How-To] Simplified UNROOT and return to STOCK - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com (it gives you the directions to do the steps BLINDLY) you will have your display back!!

Thanks again ORIAX123 for the thread..

If anyone has factory reset their phone from the privacy menu in settings and they didn't have Xionia recovery the following will work (if you are booting into recovery on power on):

    1. Download the recovery from above and extract to sdcard/000root
    2. mount all partitions in recovery
    3. adb shell
    4. / # cd /sdcard/000root
    5. / # flash_image recovery xionia_cwma_12518.6.img
    6. / # reboot recovery

    Now flash your rom!

    DONE!!

Also, you can find my nand backup in another thread on this forum and flash it, all you will have to do is program the phone and write prl and you'll have a fully flashed lg optimus s.

Quick question when I enter all information required in the command prompt window, I get error indicating "C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX\image\header_bg.gif was not found" Though nothing of the error and just pressed OK then I see the support tool open up but almost everything is "??????" and whenever I get a prompt with choices the choices are also question marks so not sure what to choose and completely throwing me off. Is anyone one else experiencing this? I've tried this on a Windows XP 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit.

    Thanks in advance

Edit: also just a note, the trouble I have right now is the lg optimus S I'm working on is currently stuck with the LG logo in the beginning of boot and just sits. Just an FYI
