Smile virgin mobile Lg Optimus v 670 Diag/MsL

First and far most make sure you have the lg Optimus usb drivers installed !!

Using a usb cable Plug the phone into a computer and power off the phone, then go to device manager and you will see the serial com port,
if you try and do this while the phone is on you will not see the available com port, the phone must be off... The reason i wrote this up is because the only other way to access a com port is to use the hidden menu built into the phone, to access this menu you dial into the phone, ##port#, then you will be prompted to enter the service code, this code is really the Msl/spc, without this you can not access this menu, i even tried to fish out the spc using adb shell and logcat and with no luck the spc code or ( service code ) is pretty much locked up, so here is an alternative to achieving the goal..

then go into cdma ws 3.8 or which ever supports lg method, put this into the terminal tab/ dm commands:
    41 74 64 77 61 6F 70 hit send

go to the security tab, passwords ( 16 digits )
    ffffffffffffffffffff hit send
    then go to

    spc/user lock:
    lg method; click read.

    ta dah.. spc code..

After you have the Msl/spc you can go ahead and do your programming with which ever Pst you plan on using to program with..

hit the thanks button if it helped you !!
