    ZTE Peel on cricket?

I saw on virgin mobile they have the ZTE Peel for $30. What it is is an dock for iPod to give it 3g. Now I got a Droid x on cricket, $45 a month plan so my idea is that I connect the ZTE Peel to a computer and flash it to cricket using the same data info (mydroidxphonenumber@mycricket.com).

So in theory, if I can put wap.mycricket.com:8080 somewhere in cdma workshop or qpst, it should pretty much be a iPod touch with free internet? And should work?

You'd have to be able to enter the proxy in the device somewhere. To my knowledge there is nothing in QPST or CDMA WS that would enable the proxy or we'd just do this with all devices.

If you were on the 55 dollar Android plan and could get a diag port open to program the Peel then maybe it would work. I'm guessing it would.

Would you think it would work on the $55/month android plan?

I wouldn't care if I have to pay an extra $10 for faster speeds for a while and data for a iPod touch lol

    Yeah it should work.

I'd get the device and attempt to get a diag port open to it. Last thing you'd want to do is change the plan IMO.
