[IIP] use merc as a wireless keyboard idea

I've been looking into how to have an android work as a USB keyboard (on a laptop or Xbox 360) to no luck. but I thought: if one had a wireless USB adapter, could the android connect to it and be a keyboard or even to transfer files to a computer. Is that hardware or software and is it possible with the right tweaks?

the logic behind you idea sounds like it would work. Although i have no idea how to do it lol... But with usb debugging, you would be surprised. The keyboard thing i can see working even wirelessly, (wireless debugging) and the file transfer, im sure thats already a thing, matter of fact i KNOW it is.

The only problem with network file transfers is that I don't have home internet. I wish I could make something like this, but I know very little about android programming and can't install the android programming software. Lol. But thanks nubsy. If I have any ideas you like, feel free to run with them.

Bluetooth is your answer.. it will do networking with the pc as well as i had a app on my tablet (honeycomb) that was a bluetooth keyboard app THAT Worked on my xbox . but not sure about on the computer i never tried i do not see the need. I do use my tablet and phone with a app from samsung to control my tv keyboard works fine but ITS OVER WIFI .. not bluetooth. Im sure its possibly a easy written app. . as far as the usb dongle thing. that would be more complex .
    Good Luck
