Ok if I recall from when I rooted, nandroid backup is from the recovery console, right? And it doesn't preserve any user info, right?

Awesome! I didn't even know this was possible, then I was reading through these posts and saw it and tried it. I like the ics stock unlock screen way better!

Also, since I am posting, (and i apologize if this question was already asked and answered) I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with their signal/3g since upgrading to ICS? If so, is there any way to fix it? I have tried disabling and re-enabling data, and also using the fresh network app, but sometimes i just have no signal at all, and it just seems to fix itself when it feels like it. Any suggestions? (or you can point me in the direction of an already posted answer...)

    Thanks!

When you are on your home screen, hit the menu button. Then go to "manage apps." there you should find 2d lock and be able to disable it.

Ok, thanks,I'll try that. Although, when I made the post, I was in my house, with literally NO signal, but right now I'm in my house and I have full bars... strange. But I guess I know what to use if that happens again. Thanks!

    Battery Life!!!

Hi, everyone! I have a question. Since upgrading to ICS on my Merc, the battery seem to die soooo quickly. I have tried various apps that are supposed to "save the battery" but most of them just seem to mess up my phone in other ways like make it freeze and force close and stuff, or they just don't save the battery at all. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem or maybe an app that actually works?

    Thanks,

    Pam

Agreed. Root it, and uninstall/freeze apps you won't need
