Yeah for the ics version we need to play with u8860 or honor or whichever model it is, sounds time consuming. I suck with software, but I don't mind testing if anyone needs a test subject/phone

So I have tried everthing, reboot, fix permissions, even wipe all data. Still had the same problem. I then unroot and put the stock recovery back on, to return to the cricket store, but now I have no problems what so ever. Is it possible that CWM or the root caused this all of a sudden? I can not figure this out.
This is caused by your screen's touch sensor being bad. (When I first got the SGS it did that and was a manufacturer's flaw.)

If you just bought it, take it back to cricket. If you have the protection plan see if cricket will work with you. If you dropped it, got it wet, or got dirt in it then try a phone repair shop.

Download an app called Multitouch Test and you can see where your touching it and the extra mystery "touch" is registering:

Would it be safe to assume one could download the non-USA ICS kernel from Huawei and build a CWM based recovery, or would that not work because their phones are GSM?

Been trying to use koush's cwm recovery making program to create recovery for ics, but I seem to be messing something up each time cuz the recovery image never seems to work. Think I need to try again when I'm off work, I think rushing is what's making me screw up.

Thank you! And please take your time, we (or at least I) can wait. I'll help test, if needed.
