Nice Itachi avatar. And did you rename the file to recovery.img ?? Try just dragging it over and overwriting the recovery.img

Thanks. The file is already named recovery.img Tried dragging it over and overwriting it, tried deleting the one that's in there and dragging it over there, tried everything. Nothing seems to work.

Alright so it seems that I'm not the only one who's run into this problem and there wasn't a solution. This blows.

you have to delete or rename the dload folder, otherwise it will keep doing the same.

OK, I'm having problems here, I have a m886 GB and m886 ICS roms loaded. One that messed up but kinda works. The proble is, I'm trying to copy first partition on ICS and restore it on GB partition with pink screen. GB device allows me to mod partitions and see them all, but in ICS it won't display anything. Is it because if the ICS not allowing to do so? or something I'm doing wrong. Pulled battery on both and SD cards too. GB displaying all partitions, but ICS doesn't. fast boot is off in both devices.
