I just put Ubuntu 12 LTS on my computer but I haven't used it for much yet so I can't really judge it. If it's like 11 though I'll definitely be going back to 10. Looks just like 11 so far.

I never had and I think most people don't, but at least one person besides you has reported battery issues. Look into juice defender or do as I do and just turn off data when you're not using it.

Could he somehow have messed up the battery calibration and need to fully charge/decharge and wipe batt data from the recovery? Sorry if that idea is old and redundant now, last time I had battery issues was my SGS.

Lol. Holding it wrong? I checked to see what was eating my battery. I closed everything that doesn't need to be running, ie Facebook an'nat. I'll try the battery wipe/charge/discharge/wipe. Cheers guys.

Yeah, recovery should still have the battery wipe option.

Here's some info and how to recondition your battery:
    [HOWTO]wipe Battery Stats - xda-developers

It even suggests that you do this whenever you change your ROM.
