[ROM][DEV][ALPHA] CyanogenMod 9 for the Huawei Mercury

Okay, for those of you may or may not know PlayfulGod has made some serious progress on the development side of the Mercury. I just thought I would post this here to show everyone how this is coming along and to give credit where credit is due. I want to start off by saying THIS IS ROM IS NOT FOR DAILY USE!! It is FAR to unstable for that. This is merely for those who would like to flash it, give it a good shakedown and reply with bugs they may have found. Also, at the time of writing this the current build has no logcat. Whats that mean for your? Well, although a fix has been brought to his attention and is being implemented as we speak, some of the bugs may take a little while to work out as he is a one man show and logcat is a necessity for debugging. So, if you'd like to help out - please feel free to flash and give some feedback. I will do my best to relay the messages to him. Also you could always post them at the original thread location here:

That's good to hear Gio....I admire your dedication to trying this out in alpha...I have somewhat more critical missions that I can't afford to play around with my phone too much...like the other day, I was out in the boonies and getting a flat tire and I had to use goolgle maps to get me to a convenience store with air...toot sweet...

The rom right now is in no use for daily use or to be installing any appd. I mean, Google play can't even be installed, enough said with that no? Lol It's only to see what bugs it has and what could be improved, which is a lot still.

When you turn the screen off does it reboot, and does it do the same when the screen times out?

please do not ask for progress reports, for a speedier build, for anything for that matter honestly. we do NOT want to discourage this developer from working on this. we all are anxious, yes, however constantly asking if everything's ready, or development updates, is a very very quick way to make the developer abandon project because we're ungrateful for the work that HAS been done. thanks!
