Search for Oriaxs wiping tool and flash that before you flash the rom that's what I do never have issues.

Not a functional one. It crashes a lot and most things don't work on it

    *cough*

It doesn't even get a signal far as I know. Meaning that it isn't usable at all.

This project will be put on hold until Huawei hands the kernel over but with our luck wont be until the official rom is out. Until then any project passed 2.3.6 will not work until further notice.

Are you sure you were booting ICS? Not trying to discount you or anything, but it is a GSM rom. It is not physically (yes, physically) possible to make a call because it is designed for a different type of hardware chipset (GSM) than what the actual phone uses (CDMA)

What they are trying to say is pretty much it's looking like a no. If they were going to release kernels they would have already done it.

CM9 is ICS based right? So you're going to run into the same problems. I think there is still hope that Huawei will make some ICS goodness for the CDMA Mercury. You guys are pretty negative considering that the OTA updates haven't even been release for the Droid RAZR family.
Please check the forum and post there before PMing me. I have over 674 unread PMs due to the fact that they are issues which should have been addressed here.

Yea but the difference between the these two releases is that Motorola announced the devices they are building ICS for last year. Whereas you haven't heard anything from Huawei regarding the release. The problem isn't when at this point, it is will it be released.
