Its a demo. Its not the real thing.

I got my mercury towards the beginning of July. Had no service, code 98 problems, then had to take it back.

It runs fine now. I have upgraded to ice cream sandwich, and went back to no service. It wasn't in airplane mode, but acted like it was. Since then downgraded back to gingerbread. Even then "No service." had to use a nandroid backup from before the 7-13- 12 firmware update to get it going again. Anyway, I'm guessing there might not be a fix for this.

Works fine for mine and my wife's phones, and no complaints from my customers neither.

Sounds like WE are the beta testers in this operation. I can only imagine how much tracking software is in this demo! Anyone tried CIQ test?

Wow, it's ok and runs smooth. Time to Root and V6.

My old wallpaper I made won't fit ICS's cropping style, I don't like the launcher icon colors (gotta get GoLauncher). And the Muve Music stuff makes me want to blow my head off. After I customize it I might be more happier... lol.

I don't think it matters when you bought it necessarily....or where. I've been watching, and it seems to me that it is relatively random concerning both above traits (where & when). Seems to solely depend on the hardware, and if it's part of the "defective" batch.

Dude....there is ALWAYS a way to flash back to stock! Seriously! Just read, and learn. That's all. Just like school, nobody is gonna simply "give" you the answer......just saying.

got it going, running pretty smooth. the 3g icon is there, but i don't have service connected to it yet. the only thing i've seen so far is that i have to touch the screen a couple times to select a setting every once in a while. but other than that, looking good so far!
