    After you root it what if u want to unroot it how do you do that

    ok ive gone further i get to

    cd merc-root then it gives me 2 errors about missing dir/folders or files

    the phone? no, it should boot the same as your current boot time. this is a patch not a rom.

    my phone keeps trying to boot up. it gets stuck on the huawei logo and then starts again

    Ok Sorry For this Question But I went to Recovery Mode and Dont Know or know How to get to Mount and Storage I had the Huawei Ascend and rooted it and Changed the Rom on it Just The Mercury is a Little Different if anyone can help me please let me know TY

    Did you have the "custom recovery" installed onto your phone? My root zip doesn't affect any files on the phone just adds.files. try doing.a "wipe /data" and see if that helps.

    Follow tthe.guide lol it's only a few steps. And it says I'm.red.that it requires the.custom recovery in order to install it.

    Maybe you should merge posts into a single one...Make a whole new thread and sticky it with the custom recovery and your rooting guide.

    Cause people are still asking how to get recovery. I just thought a simple sticky thread with both your and salas guides, would be easier to spot.
