Downgrade from ICS to Gingerbread Instructions **UPDATED**

    Guys,
I will post the instructions on how to downgrade from ics to gingerbread tonight.

    UPDATE:
    *** READ ME FIRST ***
If you want to downgrade from Ice Cream Sandwich to Gingerbread on your Mercury, here is how.
You will need to upgrade your phone TWICE in order to complete this process.

A SD card with 300MB of free space is required.

After you finish downloading all the rar files (5 parts), extract them to your sd card.
    password is gingerbread

    part 3

    part 5
    http://www.yousendit.com/download/TE...000000&s=19102

    UPGRADE ONE
    1. rename the folder dload1 to dload.
    2. upgrade the phone by going to System settings --> Storage --> Software Upgrade --> Upgrade via SD card
    3. it should take about 5 mins to do the 1st upgrade

    UPGRADE TWO
    1. rename the folder dload to dload1
    2. rename the folder dload2 to dload
    3. upgrade the phone by going to System settings --> Storage --> Software Upgrade --> Upgrade via SD card
    4. it should take about 20 mins to do the 2nd upgrade

Let me know how it goes and if you have any question.

Still waiting for the instructions to go back to gingerbread, this ics demo or whatever is not stable, gingerbread ran more faster and smoother.

What are you having problems with? Mine is pretty smooth and I haven't found anything that doesn't work yet. I noticed the first few times I restarted the phone it "optimizes" the apps, and it seems to get noticeably smoother each time
