If you're on ICS then is Volume Down + Power button for a second.

your sdcard may be bad, i have swapped out sdcards on mine and my wife's phones quite a few times and not have any issues.

as for this ICS leak, I have had it on our mercs since the day the leak came out and we still have not experienced any problems. i have kept in contact with my customers whose phones i installed this leak on, and none have had any issues either (so my wife, me, + 30 or so customers). so yeah, i honestly cannot understand why everyone else is saying that they are having issues. Also- mine is rooted, my wife's isn't, and both our phones run roughly the same.

but the thing is that the sdcard works just fine in the stock rom and in my tablet. i will try to format the sdcard and see if that solves the problem.

    While you're formatting, try partitioning.

You can do most of it with Rom Toolbox, I have changed my boot animation, but I think there isnt any shutdown animation, and yu can disable those apps under app settings, on top where it says "downloaded, running..etc" swype to the left where it says "all" and yu can disable them there.

Yeah, press the volume down key and the top power button simultaneously, and hold for a couple of seconds. It should make a camera shudder sound and the screenshot will save to your gallery and appear in your notifications.

I was having the same issue, but then it ended up fixing itself. I was getting really upset, and posting the same question, but by the time I got a reply, I had full bars. And I have full bars right now as well. But also, BMONEY recommended an app called "
    Open Signal Maps

" that scans for the nearest towers and refreshes your connection. I haven't had to even use it yet, but apparently, it works wonders. Try that, and hopefully it works.

I found it's better to have the stock recovery when applying this update.
I did it once with Salas' CWM, and once after downgrading back to stock everything.
With CWM, com.android.phone continued to force close and I wasn't able to do anything on my phone. Everything would force close.
Did it with stock and everything works perfect.
SO far, the only problem I see with it is it lags an awful lot.

I did it with cwm on my phones, and I haven't had issues. But then again for some reason I never had any of the other issues everyone else has reported either

Try the V6 Supercharger, it gets a little less laggy. but I never had any problems either, even though I did a lot of stuff people said not to do. Still to this day, I still dont have problems..
