I got my phone Feb 25th and I haven't received the text yet. But then I haven't had any of the issues others have had. Been a good phone to me and yes I'm running the ICS demo from here.

Yes Erica it is hardware issue, no software can fix the issues ppl are having. The Mercury ICE has all the problems fixed and will be able to OTA to ICS. The new Mercury will be better so get them exchanged of you qualify. It'll be worth being on hold for.

Anybody in Arizona get the text. Do you have to unroot before exchange it.

Best bet is to have factory ROM if they check it.

I would have to say your right .This is the reason people are having trouble with 4.3 ON THIS PHONE and others its running fine.. For me Ics runs as well on this phone as 2.6 did. Only issue im having with it is when its asleep for long time it has some lag waking up..t IM Sure its a governor to save battery life that is under voltage set . But anyway i will wait and see what people are getting back from cricket as a exchange . then i might scream mine is crap....... I do have mms send troubles from time to time. If this solves that as well.. THEN I WILL BE OFF FOR A NEW PHONE....

People getting new phones we need a new thread just talking about your exchanged phone if its the exact same . or something better ..

When exchanging our phones is it a good idea to do a factory reset so that our contacts / google account etc arent active on the old phone?
