Can't Update to ICS, Instant Restart Every Attempt

Hi. I am having trouble updating to ICS. Ive done it before but ever since I installed a certain ROM my phone has been acting funny. I finally got back to stock GB 2.3.6 and I thought that would solve the problem but no. IT didnt. My phone just restarts everytime I try to update from SD card. Am I missing something.

I just tried to install an update through the About Phone Menu and I get the yellow triangle android. Something on my phone is messed up ever since I installed that ROM.
