    Morning folks,

My name is Kado, (insert OJ / Green Hornet comments as you wish), I've been lurking for a few months now. Reading anything and everything I can on the Mercury. After watching Woofs' video, Thanks btw, I'm left with just one question. What type of battery is it? Li-Poly or Li-Ion
I know it sounds like an odd question, but let me explain why.....I work around the ice...a LOT!
I'm an ice-hockey referee. It has been my experience that Li-Po drain much faster and the phone I currently use, (POS Ascend),
lags greatly the colder it is.

I also fly electric RC aircraft and have noticed the battery temp when it's colder also affects flight performance.

    Thanks for your time folks.

From what I understand they come with a 1900mAH Li-ion battery. I haven't received any here yet, so I can't confirm, but I'm almost positive that's correct. I don't think a high-performance device like this would work too well with a Li-Po battery.

Oh, and just so you know, Li-ion batteries have their problems in the cold, too

Well I wont be getting mine till next week but in the mean time lets get some specifics from those of you who have it.

So we know it has 2gig internal memory. Which is a plus. How much Ram do we have? If Flash built in? Multi-touch? Come on now lets get the complete run down on this thing!!

According to the box, it's a Li-Polymer battery.

Since my phone spends most of it's time in my pocket, I don't think that's a huge concern. Just as long as it isn't forgotten in the car all night. I don't see how that could even be done though ;-)

Ok, so my screen keeps turning on for no apparent reason. I know this thing is supposed to have a good battery and all, but I don't see how it could possibly last with the screen turning on for no reason. Anybody know what might cause this and how I can fix it? Could it be something in my settings?

Thank you all for your replies. It is greatly appreciated. Now then, do any of you that have this phone already live or work in colder environments?

I know it has only been a day and you probably haven't had enough time to tinker with every little feature. But I need to know the battery life in such an environment.

    Thanks!

I'll put one in the fridge in my store for an hour and see how it works after that. That work for you?
