    GB Kernel

I'm guessing many people are wondering what's the progress on about the Kernel and what we'll be getting from it, so Dev's any answers?

Just to add to this, since it's obviously not a thread dedicated to actually assist in the gb kernel's illusive matters: i thought I'd throw a bone here. I have read on other sites the conversations between pg, erica, Android titan, to name a few. One of them had, to a point, got the kernel to compile. There appears to be some issue with the bootloader and various programming that they are working on as we speak. It would appear to a layman, such as myself, that Huawei has started to "step up" the security lately. Seems as though they want very few people, if any to gain access to their sc. Fact is, devs are working together, in their spare time. As for development etiquette....my thought is this: relax. Information will come when information is available. Progress cannot always be rushed, especially when progress is made while "moonlighting." I never asked PlayfulGod for an eta. I only asked him to return my Merc around November. Meaning, I am willing to wait three months for nothing more than a better os. It doesn't have to be the fastest, greatest thing since Androids, just better. And I'm not asking how long it will take. I'll know when I know :-)

This is exactly what the thread was for. Just simply info. No dates, requests, or as such. Just info on about what's going on. If you'd like to share, then do so, if not then don't. But thanks again Sportwin, you've been lots of help with hmm the Merc community, I guess we can say lol

I would like to apologize for my outburst. It was wrong of me to do what I did. I just ask that people be a little less rude around. At least to the people who are new to all this. On a different subject, I am open to test whatever ROMs or anything new that comes out.

Did you delete? I didn't see a quote, let alone an outburst :-)

It's all good. I guess, just watch how you say things. It's not always what you say, sometimes, it's how you say it. :-)

Yup, I should do that more often. I usually just keep it to myself.
