Too much data traffic and calls start dropping or blocking and then people complain about how lousy Cricket it cause of all the dropped calls and they leave or never sign up.
MOST users never get anywhere near the 1gb and they few that do get there and go over dont mean anything in the big picture.
I didn't know data had anything to do with voice calls. That's interesting. Do you have a link that will explain it?

I read an article about what woof said however all it said that call quality improved from 2003 to 2009 gradually for all the carriers. However from 2009 to 2011 call quality stayed the same. And that smart phone users have an average of more complaints about call quality.

Sorry no. Just recalling conversations with the RF engineer that occupied the office next to me in Vegas.

Cricket is a CDMA carrier, and the Huawei Glory we're talking about is CDMA. Huawei might release a GSM version. I don't know.

Visit Huawei's site and see what they have. You might be interested in the Huawei X6. I think they have that in GSM.

It looks like it is going to have a front facing camera: http://www.cricketusers.com/cricket-...ng-camera.html

Check out the source on that link. It's an interesting article.

Short of the front facing camera news (which I kinda recall having read during the original unveiling a few months ago) there doesn't seem to be much surfacing that's really revelatory. It is encouraging that what IS bubbling to the surface is consistent, so I am starting to feel like we have a good idea of what we will see when this phone finally finds its way to my house...I mean releases.
