    Huawei Mercury Boot Animations

Does anyone have any idea on how to change/modify the boot animations on the merc? I have tried doing so through ROM Toolbox but to no avail. Perhaps I am going about it the wrong way or need some other guide/insight in to the how-to....Anyhow, all welcome help and or replies are welcome! and Thanks ahead of time for the input!

for the bootanimation you can also find it in "/system/media/bootanimation.zip" if you want to install a custom bootanimation you can try doing this if your rooted, have adb installed and have the bootanimation.zip you want to replace it with.

    Using cmd or terminal:

    (enables read/write permissions)
    adb remount

    (deletes bootanimation)
    adb rm /system/media/bootanimations.zip

    (pushes new bootanimation)
adb push (location of your bootanimation.zip you want to replace with) /system/media/bootanimation.zip

    (reboots device)
    adb reboot

Actually there is no bootanimation.zip in /system/media. Location on mercury its only in the cust file

Unless you use Android Kitchen to add the custom bootanimation feature which is all youll have to do if remaking the backup as as a stock rom w/custom bootanimation then whoever uses it can change the bootanimation whenever they want. Like i said i dont know much about the device since i dont have one.
