Ya the merc has solid battery life, I usually average 22 - 23 hours on a single charge and thats with 3G & Background data enabled. (stock battery) If I didn't play Draw something so much it would probably be higher.

I used to average lower when I was running Go Launcher EX but unfortunately I discovered it was the cause of most of my battery complaints.

My batteries last 24 average hours, wifi and 3g always on. With 10 to 15 apps running in background and screen is often on.

Yeah, I read it. Seems to me like he didn't really test the phone out.

Ya the only part of the review I kind of agree on is the touch screen sensitivity but he makes it sounds worse than it actually is.

Ive never had a problem with call quality and Ive had a mercury since December 2011.

People must get paid to give bad reviews because when i was on Verizon and had the Droid Incredible, it was said to be Verizons best phone while on stock...while on stock, my Huawei Mercury is way better in everyway camera etc except for dev support...How often do you find a cheap phone with a 1.4 processor?? To me this is a high end phone for a low price

Got my extended battery in, and it's bigger by 2 1/4 times
Also, back cover is plastic, and feels like cheap Chinese plastic.

    Got this from here:
    HB5F1H for Huawei M886 Mercury / Glory / Cricket ~ Extended Capacity 3600mAh Li-Ion Ba...

Sold by AccessoriesShop on Amazon.com for 15.99$
First plugged it in, showed it was 20%, I'll let it charge and let you know how long it lasts for normal use, heavy and all sensors turned on.

DUDE!!! Talk about changing a phone from a nice thin size to a beast!! That is a huge increase in size!! Did you want a battery to last forever or what?

I don't know.......a Camaro or a Mustang looks a little funky when it has a huge supercharger bulge for a hood......then it starts to look kinda cool. I would do it, if there was a shock cover for this setup. Just sayin'.
