I am having so much trouble with the ICS root.

so I followed the instructions in the root post, and when I launch root me, it comes up blank after I press key to continue, sometimes it will say some service is not running and then it starts the service, but after it does, black screen with no progress. If I try to run as administrator, I get 'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I installed the adb drivers, reinstalled them, rebooted both phone and computer, but nothing is working. What am I doing wrong?

first merc i did it on took 3 tries, something kept messing up
second merc took 5 tries, still had no clue what was going wrong

Sounds like a usb driver conflict or issue..

google usbdeview .. download and run with the phone not connected to the computer. delete all forms of adb or android you see in the list. You can safeley remove them all especially and double entries.. You will likely see alot.. Then plug in the phone and delete its enty .
reboot the computer . and go to huawei devices.com. download there hi suite software and install it. This will install there latest usb drivers.. Then you should be GOOD to go.. you can also try it before d/loading hi suite.. but i think you will have to have that to get the latest huawei adb usb driver..
    GOOD Luck...

hope this helps i typed it very fast with little detail....
