    I shattered the screen..

Still works, but god damn, my beautiful Mercury is no longer beautiful. Dropped it outside by the pool. Case got all scratched and dented and the screen shattered. Luckily, you can hardly see it when its on, but damn it sucks.

Yeah. I'm thinking of wrecking the software in a way that they'll think is a glitch or something & exchange it. Accidental damage is not covered, only glitches, hardware failures etc. I need to find out a way to do this... or just buy a new one, but I don't want to do that.

Yikes. Can you just claim it stolen? They should replace it then.

Is the insurance cricket offers different for some people? The insurance papers I have say it will cover accidental damage, stolen , lost or hardware failures but I have to pay $125 to get a replacement regardless of which one of those incidents occurs... I guess its better than paying full price tho.

This information is absolutely 100% incorrect.

    1. The deductible for the Huawei Mercury is $125, still much cheaper than having to replace it at $249.99 + tax + esn change.

    2. You can add insurance within 30 days of purchase by visiting a full service location and having your phone examined for any type of damage. You will have to pay $5 + tax at the time you add it.

Then yes, the person who sold you it does need to learn more, or be more honest..

I don't know what you mean by "Cricket salesmen" though since majority of sales reps do not work for Cricket, they work for an Authorized Cricket Dealer. Also, I am a sales rep who works for an Authorized Cricket Dealers, so I don't really like you insinuating that we don't know what we're talking about, because some of us do

LOL It wasn't meant for ALL of them I'm well aware that there are people who know what they are talking about sorry for insulting. But I mean when you have an authorized cricket dealer tell me that they are using 4G on a phone with no 4G radio it tends to turn u away but honestly a lot of that stuff is needed to be learned on the sellers own time because none of the specs or android versions or radio types are even required I imagine.
