Mercury Could Have some Competition coming!

Looking around and saw that ST is getting the LG Optimus 2X. You think it will knock the Mercury off it's throne?

Does anyone know if this is on AT&T or Verizon? I think Straight Talk has phones on both. Verizon has LTE, but so does AT&T, right?

Either way, both networks are good, and the phone looks great! I'm sure it will sell well, especially since it will probably be sold at Wal-Mart.

    1. The fact you're helping Walmart to destroy every other retail location in America?
    2. You have no real actual human to go to for customer service.
    3. It's not a real wireless service provider it's an MVNO.
    4. You don't get all the same features.

I'm sure there's plenty more, but I don't know enough about these little companies no one ever heard of until they release a silly commercial..

    Oh yeah, that's another one...

I like Wal-Mart, customer service probably won't bother me much, and I've been with MVNOs before.

Yeah, I'm sure some features would be lost. I mean, you can only get Muve Music with Cricket, and the same with their Global Number feature.. And of course Cricket has some other features that Straight Talk doesn't have.

    Overall, I think it's a good deal..

Well, this phone is supposed to have LTE, and I don't think Sprint has their LTE up and running yet.

Looking at the specs it may not be too bad if it was made by someone else. I own an LG Optimus Slider and when I go to the gun range Saturday I will be putting it out of it misery. With all the problems with LG on there mobile devices I won't be buying one. And I'm also not a fan of Walmart. I want a person who can solve problems if needed. I'll drive an extra 70 miles to get what I need and pass about 10 Walmarts on the way and still save money and headaches.
