Unhappy Mercury Phone is dead.. Need a cheap or free replacement!

Hello, I've got a big problem. My Huawei Mercury phone died completely and I'm out of work at the moment with no cash to buy another phone.

Would anyone happen to have an extra Mercury laying around they are no longer using and would be willing to donate or sell really cheap? I'd really appreciate it.

Drop me a private message on Google + or email at ppriser@yahoo.com.

    Thanks in advance!

Indeed. Lousy economy and no work to be found. I hate having to ask for help but I'm in a bind until I get back on my feet again.

As far as I can figure out, it was zapped during a nightly storm while charging that took out the system board and even the SD Card.

I've got a Mercury that's practically new, in the box. When me and my wife got our phones she immediately moved on to an iPhone that someone gave her.

For some reason the speaker sounds like crap and I need to send it in. I have two months left on the one year manufacturers warranty so I'm going to call Huawei on tuesday and see if I can mail it off.

If for some reason they wont fix the phone, or even if they do, I'll put it up for sale or trade. I've long since moved on to better phones heh.

I can't even describe how awesome it is. I left it stock/rooted for a long time, but now I'm running CyanogenMod nightlies and Franco kernel. It's like being able to change into a different phone whenever I want.

    You should get one!
