    Mercury won't charge battery.

My mercury won't charge the battery, but the USB is detected and it does show the thunderbolt icon. I have tried different b batteries, cords, chargers and outlets and made no difference. I was playing gun bros, and it got really hot where the processor is. That's the only thing that I think could've caused the problem. I've heard other devices having the same issue, but do far I haven't found a solution. Any body else have this problem or a solution? Thank you.

no, no liquid damage or humidity. just out of the blue it stopped charging. what is strange is that it will say that it is charging and maintain the battery % (doesn't go up), but as soon as you unplug it, the % drops.

my mercury just stopped working . It would not power up show any notification lights nothing. I took it to the store and talking to the rep there (not sure if he right or not ) but say this phone has a issue with regulating the charging power and state. From my experience with the phone he on to something .So he says Huawei recommends to not charge this phone for more then 2 hours at a time . And to not use it for anything other then to place or receive calls while charging. They are saying battery will get to hot and cause phone damage. So i say take it back to store and get a exchange . it cost me 20.00 with no trouble or issues. they were happy to help me.

I accidentally left my phone plugged in yesterday evening and overnight, when I woke up this morning it was only at 87% charge and I noticed it wasnt charging anymore (phone was cold as well) It was on the charger for a good 10 hours (woops) but I assumed it stopped charging on its own because once I unplugged it and plugged it back in it charged to 100%. I was using the AC charger tho maybe the issue occurs when plugged into PC USB?

When I bent the pin on my USB port it did the same thing for a day before I tried to "fix" it and really broke it for good.
