It will probably have Muve Music eventually, but I don't know if it will be available when it launches.

    Ascend 2

Unfortunately the Mercury is being released without Muve Music . I think this is being done to keep sales of the Score, Ascend 2 and Vitality going after the Mercury's release. I am sure there will be a software upgrade within a few months to allow tethering and Muve like they did with the ascend 2, at least i am hoping.

I'm confident that all of Cricket's new Android phones will have Muve Music, either at launch, or afterwards with an update (like you said). I'm also wondering if Cricket will ever get it working on Blackberries. I don't think Cricket has ever had more than one Blackberry for sale at a time, but there are still a lot of people that prefer it over Android.

anyone know how to REMOVE built in apps like Muve, MyBackup (worthless--actually harmful piece of software in my opinion). these apps are taking up valuable space from the 128mb built in memory on the Vitality

    fyi, my phone IS rooted.

Yeah, I was gonna saaaaayyyy, there's apps on the market that can help. I got rid of every piece of bloatware on my Ascend the day I bought it.

I got an e-mail from our Cricket rep the other day about the Mercury, and it said the 8GB Muve Music MicroSD cards are a "recommended" accessory for it. I would imagine Cricket has plans to put Muve on it soon, as they're really trying to push the service. It would seem like a wasted opportunity for Cricket not to.

I think they should have just sent the Muve Music MicroSD card with the phone. How did it work with the Ascend 2 again? When a customer wanted to upgrade did they need to pay for the MicroSD card? I thought it was free if the customer upgraded to the Muve Music plan.

they will offer the muve 4GB card for free most likely, and the 8GB will cost. and yes, anyone caught selling the free muve cards will most likely not be selling cricket phones any longer.

If you bought an Ascend 2 and upgraded to the Muve plan, you get a free 4GB Muve card. I'm guessing they'll do the same thing with the rest of the android lineup that gets a Muve update. You only need to pay for the 8GB cards, which I've been unable to get out here since they came out

    Thank you both.

I'm hoping Cricket improves it so you can choose how much storage you want for music and how much you want for regular data. I know I don't listen to a lot of music, so 1 GB would be more than enough. I would want the other 3 GB for general storage. I think currently it's the other way around.
