It was a known problem that none of the ICS roms work. If you read the threads you would've known.

Try using this hidden menu from the dialer *#*#4636#*#* Click Phone info and try changing the preferred network to CDMA Auto

I just found a GingerBread and ICS rom for the Honor

HUAWEI U8860 - Huawei Device Co., Ltd..

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY WILL WORK ON THE MERCURY

Most of the ICS roms don't work, you can get them to run but that's about it. No data at all. Although if you have an app called SMSPoup you might get the texts but you can't reply. Then the update for the c8860e, pretty much bricks your phone. It'll run too, but no cricket connection. It also wipes out your CWM, so no way of getting your backup back on.

Yes but this is the first rom to my knowledge that has made a SUCESSFUL CDMA connection. This seems to be the point some people are missing.
Granted, I was roaming but was still able to make a phone call to try and activate. I believe we are not kernels or source files off from success in my opinion. We are not needing to make anything for the ground up. There is a solid almost fully functional base to start with. We are down to apn settings and possibly three file changes away. All of which I could have done if I could have obtained SU at the time. I have now found a supposed root exploit but have yet to try it.

Oh and for the record, me rolling back to the 2.3 chinese rom is what bricked my phone. It did however get the phone back to a point where I could take it to cricKet. That was my bottom line at the time.
