New to Mercury - question about shutdown sound

Just got my Mercury less than a week ago as a replacement to the LG Optimus and so far it feels like a substantial upgrade. Still trying to figure out a few things, one of which pertains to the shutdown sound. Unlike the incoming call and notification sounds that can easily be configured through the Settings menu, I can't seem to find where this particular sound is set. I'm not particular about the actual sound it makes other than the fact that it's disproportionately LOUD and I need to either reduce the volume of it or remove it altogether. Please advise.
